Re: scaling to fit using image height
Hi Tim and Simon, Thanks for your replies. Yes, I understand the height concept and that it might have carried with it some inherent difficulties, Tim but I had to ask. Suffice to say that my problem was more exception rather than rule. Must be grateful for that. With your SVG suggestion, Simon, I h...

scaling to fit using image height
Hi Tim, I could not find this question already asked on forum, so here goes. Our engineering team have at times decided that creating physical drawings the size of king-single beds perfectly acceptable and, often with relatively arbitrary paper sizes. I spoze to them it is, however, when it comes to...

Re: anchors inside toggles
Hi Tim, Is there any way that opening a toggle off a hyperlink can be made to expand the toggle if you are NOT using a PP skin? I ask because our users would benefit greatly from the functionality, but because the display hardware is a machine touch-screen, flash skins won't necessarily fly. Thanks ...

table rows / columns with conditions
Hi Tim,
I don't think this is available nor if it is possible or desirable from a behind-the-scenes perspective, but to be able to select rows or columns in a table and tag them for different builds would rather spiffing in my world.

Re: Repository Nested Snippets
hi scotcro,
just make sure the repo project has its own topics folder as one of the project search paths and you should be good to go.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, all styles were locked. I followed your procedure, but no change for me . Not sure what's going on, but its not the biggest issue i have to deal with .

repository style changes not updating in linked projects
Hi Tim, I seem to be having difficulties with style repository updates in linked projects. I decided to make changes to styles in my repository - all cool there and the style changes are reflected in the snippet topics in the repository. I open other projects that are liked to the repository and the...

Re: snippets NOT appearing in pdf output
Hi Tim,
I am a f*%@#ng idiot . Just checked the editor again and just noticed that a conditional text "END" thing was missing. This caused all conditional text after it to become invalidated. Yaay!! Yeehhaa!!

Re: snippets NOT appearing in pdf output
Hi Tim, Thanks for your reply. Yes, the topics are included directly in the pdf template. The search paths are actually all okay [identical], otherwise the project would not pick up any of the snippets in question. The custom builds are identical amongst all projects and the repo project. There does...

snippets NOT appearing in pdf output
Hi Tim, Just lost a heap of information I was trying to write here because I got logged out and was not aware of it. Will select all and save to notepad in future as a precaution... :dunno: Anyway, want to publish to multiple languages using a single repository and single PDF template. Repo contains...

Re: SVG graphic performance
Hi Martin,
That is an interesting idea and something I may try. Thank you. If the customers can still just open the overall PDF and hit print still to create a book, that would be great. With an option of clicking a drawing to open an A3 landscape version in PDF, they may even find it appealing.

Re: SVG graphic performance
Hi Tim and Martin, Yeah, they do print the drawings off (generally A3 landscape) as to have a "workshop manual". We used to actually provide the printing service [well before my time here], but now just give em the PDF and let them sort out what they want. It is a little bit archaic, but t...

Re: is there a simpler way of doing this - massive multiple
Thanks for your suggestions, gents. I think that I will end up with multi-copies and snippets as I can envisage character set problems down the track.
