I would like to be able to select elements by spanning the mouse to lasso the items.
Then I'd like to be able to optionally modify those elements by entering X/Y position or height/width values.
Thanks,
Mark.

Re: compiler messages indicators
I had forgotten about that setting. The errors are easy to identify. errors.png I've already told the application to silently include links, so those warnings are not warnings but the expected result. However, when there is a problem with the silently-included link, then I need to address it. Those ...

compiler messages indicators
When we compile, our projects typically have several screens' worth of compiler messages. It is difficult to see what is what as the icons we've encountered are the same, but the message text indicates something additional is off. It is difficult to catch the errors (a linked topic is missing, for e...

Keyboard shortcuts
We have several keyboard shortcuts in v6. Is there a way to import these into v7?
Thanks,

Rotation
The little red dot to spin an arrow or rotate an image is quite small. I would like to be be able to simply grab anywhere on the direction circle and pull in the desired direction.

Re: Copy hotspots
Thanks. I have used a similar technique (but skipping the XML Source tab) by copying/pasting the image with the hotspots, replacing the image, and then deleting the hotspots I don't need - depending on how many I can reuse... I'll try your method to see which is faster for me.

Alignment tools
I would like to see the alignment tools from the hotspot editor pulled into Impict (or its successor), along with align-right and align-bottom.

I just bring my image to the front if there are other objects and use the "select area to copy" button.

Links to files with snippets
Good morning, I have a topic in project A which includes a snippet. In project B, I have created a snippet, from file, to the .xml file in project A. The text from the project A topic displays fine, but the snippet does not display/cannot be found. The project A files are included in the project B p...

Re: Publishing settings not remembered & text variables lost
Hi Tim, Most of our text variables were "pink"; we could edit but not delete the variable. A fresh import did not help. Opening the project in notepad revealed a section <task-variables></task-variables> near the top of the file with all of our variables, each of them with opening and clos...

Re: Publishing settings not remembered & text variables lost
Hi Tim,
Does the solution for Christine also resolve the losing of text variables issue? I should clarify from my previous post, however. In the project in question we use 40+ variables, and on two occasions all have disappeared from the project.
Thanks,
Mark.

Re: Publishing settings not remembered & text variables lost
We have twice had this random issue of losing text variables using the latest HM and skin, not being able to tie it to any action we have taken. We use subversion, but manage our commits and updates outside of HM.
