Re: Images appearing in Webhelp, not in HTML Help
Tina, did you also delete all files in the website folder before uploading?

Re: Create automatic "See Also" links to subtopics
Great suggestion, Kevin!
How about "See also" boxes that automatically include a reference to every Topic that references the current Topic?

Re: Snippet "sections"
Great suggestion, Mark.
I am wrestling with the same situation. Additionally, leaving a Topic using Ctrl+Click in order to update an embedded snippet, and then returning to the original Topic, is a pain, especially if this must be done several times to fine-tune the embedded snippet.

How to detect left-margin overlap?
Folks: Is there any way to detect by a search of the XML files or HTML files when the text or an image overlap a page's left margin? For example, when too many left-indents have been applied to a paragraph? Or the XML code has been modified incorrectly?

Re: Open CHM File Once
Robert, you write "Well, 64-bit Windows 7 doesn't like that program" That is strange. No problems with Help displayed through KeyHH.exe (version 1, 1, 9145,00, dated 6/16/2007) have been reported by my thousands of end-users on Windows7 and Windows8 64-bit. This is probably another of thos...

Topic Back Forward Arrow lists
How about right-clicking the Topic Back and Forward arrows to show lists of Topics in both directions, not just "Previous" and "Next". Right-lick topic lists would speed up accessing Topics in work-flows like this: Amend Topic A Amend Topic B Amend Topic C Amend Topic D Amend Top...

Re: Edit TOC Icons
Sharon, each time webhelp is generated, HM outputs cicon?.gif files into the webhelp folder. There are 44 different gifs available, but only a few are used in each webhelp. Identify the .gif you don't like and upload its read-only replacement to your server's webhelp folder.

Re: Edit TOC Icons
Sharon, is this for webhelp? I changed the webhelp icons seen by end-users by uploading my own icons to the server with the filenames of the official icons, and then write-protecting them.

Find and Replace in Hyperlink Addresses
Please enhance "Find All" to include character strings in Hyperlink Addresses. Currently I publish to WebHelp, and then search the HTML pages.

Re: Is TNT Windows 7 Compatiable?
Roger, perhaps there is some other software on your system intervening to cause TNT to slow down. Please scan services.msc and disable any "started" services that you never use, and the same thing with a "startup" manager . I use TNT almost daily with Windows7 64-bit, and its ope...

Please activate DEP and ASLR
Data Execution Protection (DEP) and Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) reduce vulnerabilities to attack. Process Explorer reports they are not fully implemented in HM 6.2.3 - 2670. In next release?

Re: Integrating Google Site Search instead of H&M search
Tim is correct (of course!), but one reason that my clients prefer Google Site Search for WebHelp is because it does search the entire website. The answer to the end-user's question may be in the WebHelp file for a different software product or in a supporting document. Google Site Search is integra...

Re: How can I disable auto-selection in editor?
Selecting text backwards (right-to-left) defeats auto-selection for English text. Perhaps this works for you, Toshiyuki.
