Tim,
Thank you so much - I know it was an option somewhere but I was going crazy trying to find it. It all looks perfect now.

Incorrect Font in CHM Table of Contents
Hello, I am hoping you can help me determine why this is happening. I have one project file that when I generate the CHM, the font used in the table of contents is small and squished looking. TOC_IncorrectFont.PNG When I compared the Table of Contents settings for this project with another that gene...

Re: Questions about Premium Skins and Responsive Sites
Tim, Thanks for the information. We did update to the latest premium packs and the updated skins will work for us for now. Do you have a time frame for when Help & Manual 7 will be released this year? Will there be an upgrade cost for version 6 users? We need to make this change due to Google's ...

Questions about Premium Skins and Responsive Sites
Hello, We are working toward transitioning our current web site to a responsive site. On our current site we display our H&M generated web help inside an iframe (see this as an example: http://www.peernet.com/document-conversion-service/userguide/index.htm?welcome_to_dcs.htm ). This is generated...

Re: HTML Default template missing content in generate index.
Aha!!! Thank you so much for the quick reply. I'll make a note to myself that I have to change BOTH places when upgrading or moving to a new skin.

Tim,
Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep this in mind when writing my help in for version 6. I have both version 5 and 6 on my machine so I can work around this.

Re: Underline\Font Issue with Bold Hyperlinks
Tim,
Thanks for the follow-up. I was able to generate a the required PDF using version 5 of H&M for now. Also good to know what is causing it.
Do you have any time frame for a solution for this?
Thanks,
Sheri

Underline\Font Issue with Bold Hyperlinks
Hello, I have a font issue with a PDF file created using HM6. The project file I am working on has absolutely no H&M text styles applied to any of its text, only bold/italic/bullets/numbering/hyperlink. The styles "Normal", "Comment", Heading1, etc. that are created by defaul...

Re: WebHelp with UTF-8 BOM Not working..
Tim, Thanks for the follow-up. It took me a while to get back to this. It is actually just the xml version tag with the encoding that I needed. I was able to get this outputted to my html pages by adding it into my template. I did not change the DOCTYPE tag. In HM5 enabling the Export WebHelp with U...

WebHelp with UTF-8 BOM Not working..
Hello, I have moved an HM5 project to HM6. In my project I am using a custom HTML template and I have the Export WebHelp with UTF-8 BOM enabled on my HTML Export Options. This is the same as in HM5. My custom html template has this at the beginning: <?php require( '../includes/howtotop.php' ) ; ?> <...

Code Editor and Formatting XML Code Snippets
Hello, I'm using the code editor formatting to format my XML code. I would like it too look the same as in Visual Studio, if that is possible. In Visual Studio, the XML code looks like this: xml_vs.png In HM6 the XML code looks like this: xml_hm.png I tried changing various styles for the XML format...

Re: Documenting the ever-changing Windows environment...
I agree with Tim and Winsteps. If I was targetting a more experience audience I wouldn't have to explain everything out but I know how varied a range of user's we have from also handling telephone support. Let me tell you on-line desktop sharing is the best thing for tech support, and screen grabs a...

Documenting the ever-changing Windows environment...
Hello, I'm looking for feedback on how other documentation writes have handled this scenario. I'm a techie (programmer) who gets to write documentation. Windows in its infinite wisdom  keeps changing the names of things like the My Documents folder and the Printers and Faxes folder in each new...
