iPadSkin from PremiumPack 2

Unread post by VictorL »

Hi!

Just have received set of skins from Premium Pack 2.

Great, fine, pushing to create :D

But there's something about iPadSkin to use...

Every format I tried to select this skin to publish was faulse...

No result and some errors at the end...

Why is this?

How to use this skin correctly?

Thanks for all!

The iPad skin is a dedicated skin for the iPad only. It will not open in other browsers and you cannot preview it in other browsers because it is specifically designed for Mobile Safari on the iPad. You need an iPad to test it. If you want to test it locally you need to have a local web server that you can access with your iPad. 8)

Is it right to need having iPad with an installated H&M?

If it isn't I can use browser Safari and having a local web-server...

What kind of format I can publish with it... Webhelp only?

Absolutely: iPad format needs and iPad for testing. The alternative would be to have a full Apple Mac computer running the XCode programming environment, which includes an iPad emulator. However, that's a lot more complicated and the emulator is not 100% accurate, so you still really need a physical iPad for testing.

No, that's not possible. Safari on a computer is not Mobile Safari. You need the iPad version, only that is Mobile Safari.

Yes, it's a WebHelp skin.
