Find & Replace not finding

When I search for something across All Topics, sometimes H&M comes back with 0 search results.

In the case of searching in Captions, it never finds anything.

I know the search is there as H+M will find it in individual topics.

Any ideas?

What exactly are you searching for? Anything unusual about the text, special characters etc? Also where is it -- directly in a topic, in a table, somewhere else?

It's just in general searches.

I'm looking at changing all the Table titles in a repository, so I search for <%HMTBLCOUNTER%> in All Topics and the result comes back as Finished searching the project "HM-repository.hmxr" but with no results.

If I search in Current Topic, it finds it.

Hi Gareth,

I'll check into this but those are variables you are searching for, not text, and they are handled differently. You may need to process those directly on the XML topic files with an external editor.
