Re: Dynamic snippets? Snippet as template?
Hi Tony, just in case you haven't found your best solution yet. We are using variables in a similar context: the snippet contains <%TEXT%> and the topics each define the value of the TEXT variable. I don't think it would be maintainable with hundreds of topics, but works nicely with a couple of dozen.

Re: List all comments
Hi,
I use the automatically create bookmarks option and noticed that it does indeed create a bookmark for a comment added before it was turned on - if I edit the topic which contains the comment. If that was a bug, please consider it a feature =)
Sorry for butting in on your thread, John.

Re: Find&Replace - table of contents
Hello Tim,
finally got round to re-checking this. It doesn't work for me, version 7.2.0 build 3997.
Replace worked all right in the main TOC, but didn't do anything in alternative TOCs. In topics and keywords worked fine everywhere.

Find&Replace - table of contents
In my experience, Find&Replace with "Table of contents" option works only with the main TOC, alternative TOCs are passed by. Is this intentional behaviour or a bug?

Re: Get the not-referenced and not-snippets list of topics?
I use a prefix for the snippets, so they are all grouped together and easy to ignore =)

Re: Windows 10 Problems Displaying Reports?
Tim,
sorry, 3997 doesn't work either. Chrome, IE 11, Firefox, Firefox in safe mode (just in case).
Firefox shows just nothing, Chrome and IE - what the OP said.

Re: Windows 10 Problems Displaying Reports?
Hmm, I'm already using this beta version, and still don't see the report, though the server works. Got Windows 7, however.

Re: Tables with merged cells break up Webhelp layouts
Thanks for prompt reply Tim.
My tables are completely fluid, yes. Well, I'll just have to avoid merged cells as long as I can, and hope (rather reasonable at this moment) that most of our users won't browse on small devices.

Tables with merged cells break up Webhelp layouts
Premium Pack 2 Webhelp skins, standard responsive skins, whatever: with a small window size the tables which have merged cells suddenly stretch out wider than they were on a full-screen window. The merged cells I have are all of the "whole row merged into one" type. Any ideas on fighting t...

Print Manual View not updated from style repository
I used style repositories to switch from one style set to another: unlinked the old repository and linked a new one. However, the Print Manual View was not updated: the styles that had to have different appearance in PDF had Same as Screen View set in the project, but one of the styles that had to b...

Re: Tables and CSS
Hello Martin, Tim,
the fact is I also want a PDF even if it will have slightly different table settings, so HTML code object wouldn't work for me, would it? So for a little thing like different cell padding I'm going to go ahead and use !important. Thank you.
