Re: Fig/Table update in Word (docx)
Hi Gareth, 1 The help topic you are looking for is here: When Publishing to Word, with a Word docx Template, is it possible to configure Figure/Table caption numbers so they will update if other figures/tables are added/removed? If figure counter variables removed or added in Help+Manual the number...

Fig/Table update in Word (docx)
When Publishing to Word, with a Word docx Template, is it possible to configure Figure/Table caption numbers so they will update if other figures/tables are added/removed?
I can't see anything in the Help.
An example file would be useful if you have it.

V4 Advanced Compact WebHelp Skins
Is there any help file documentation on the V4 skins?
Also, with the V4 Advanced Compact WebHelp Skins is there a way to set the top expanding menus to Hide Chapter Contents as default?

Re: pdf viewer
Thanks for the replies. Don't think I made it clear, the viewer is to be installed on an industrial production line machine, it's not for personal PC use. I'll have a look at Edge/AR and see what is smallest. On my quest I did discover Okular which has it's roots in Linux: https://okular.kde.org/en-...

pdf viewer
Not strictly a H+M question, so feel free to move if necessary. We have installed documentation on one of our machines in the form of the eWriter app. It has links to pdfs which we store on the machine. Which pdf viewer would you recommend? Obviously looking for as light as possible, but reliability...

PDF (Peer) Review
I've started using the PDF Review plugin. It's a really nice way to go through the comments from a pdf and it saves me some time. A couple things I would like to see, probably not possible, but I'll suggest them anyway: 1. Detailed comments and suggestions are often made in the pdf comments. I would...

Re: Undoing Topic deletion
Thanks, Tim. I have used this technique before. H+M does a good job of backing up your work. However, in most instances of Topic deletion, it's because I'm working just replacing certain images or formatting across multiple topics, so I lose track of what has actually been deleted, because I'm using...

Undoing Topic deletion
Occasionally I accidently delete a topic. This is usually because I think I'm inside one, but I've not clicked it properly and it is actual fact still selected in Project Explorer. There appears to be no undo command here, so I have to close and lose any unsaved changes. It doesn't happen often, but...

Figure title using <%TOPICTITLE%> not in ToF/ToT
I use <%TOPICTITLE%> in a lot of my Figures and Tables. It's very efficient and allows flexibility when renaming Topics.
However, the automatically generated Table of Figures/Table of Tables doesn't seem to see the variable and just replaces it with a blank space.
Any ideas?

Re: EWriter on Chromebook
Fair enough. It's just with it being it's own environment, I thought it'd be worth asking the question. Cheers, Tim. EDIT: Good timing, Martin! Thanks, I'll have a look at that. EDIT2: Tim, it also says in your help literature (Reference > Publishing Formats > eWriter eBooks) that eWriter is n...

Flow chart integration
I am currently creating flowcharts for our machine process via https://app.diagrams.net (draw.io). Each step in the flowchart relates to a topic in H+M. I want to export the flowchart and import into H+M. The software exports to PNG/SVG/PDF/XML/HTML and can generate custom links. I'm trying to think...
