Date format (in PDF Template Designer)
Hello, I'm trying to format the date in the PDF Template Print Manual Designer. I put it like this: <%DATE yyyy-mm-dd%> And sadly this is exactly what is printed in the PDF: <%DATE yyyy-mm-dd%> If I only use <%DATE%>, it works, only in the "wrong" format (dd/mm/yyyy). Am I doing something ...

Tip of the day?
Today I had the idea to have something like a "tip of the day" section on our website. I have no idea if something like that would be feasible. Basically there would be a text field and a "database" of texts from which one should be chosen with each access to the website. Do you ...

Find conditional text
We have a manual with a number of conditional builds, where we change or remove some parts of some chapters, depending on the builds. Now we face the problem to add another build, and we didn't find a way to find where we customized parts of certain topics. So we basically have to go through all top...

Best way to structure a project
This is more of a consulting question. I need to create datasheets for our products. We have about 10 different products, each in 2 variants. They are all of the same type, so they have the same categories, but of course different actual data, e.g. they all have a pinout, but the pinout is different...

Re: WebHelp - Topics not collapsable in Firefox and Chrome
Hi Tim,
found a workaround for me: In about:config I had to set privacy.file_unique_origin to FALSE for the problem to go away.
Would be nice if we could do something on our side, though, so users won't have this problem.

Re: How to change the header height?
Hi Tim,
thanks for the hint.
Now I'm three quarters of the way there, hoping you can help me one more time.
The header and the navigation box look great. But now the box where the topic heading is, sticks out. How can I adjust that one?

How to change the header height?
I'm using a slightly customized iFrames Repsonsive blue webhelp theme, and I want to make the header line, where the company logo and the title are displayed, a bit smaller. There is a setting that I thought would be it: #hmheadbox { position: absolute; left: 0px; right: 0px; top: 0px; height: 130px...

Format text to the bottom of a page?
Is it possible somehow to configure text to be placed at the bottom of a page? To make it more clear, we have an intro page with some general information and a "footer" with copyright etc. information. I would like to have that information in the bottom of the page when printed in PDF. I a...

Change HTML template variables per build?
Is it possible to change a variable of an HTML template dynamically per build?

Re: Progress in Batch execution?
From the moment where it says "Printing Document", it takes around 3 to 4 minutes. Interestingly, the build that includes some pages from a project on a network drive, took 3 minutes, whereas the build that doesn't include these pages, took 4 minutes. 19 pages are from a project on a netwo...

Progress in Batch execution?
It would be nice to see a progress in the steps of batch export.
The PDF I'm printing has 578 pages, and it takes minutes to print. One wonders if it's actually still working.

Comments in XML are deleted??
I just found out that when comments are added in the XML file (or, more specifically, if parts of the XML file are commented to test something), they are removed after the user changes to the editor view and back to the XML view. In my case it worked out, because I indeed wanted to get rid of someth...
