Re: Page margins (white space) in Webhelp output with PP ski
Tim, please let me add one more general question: We need to provide some content over the web only. There will be definitely no need for other formats like PDF, so this powerful multi-output option of H&M will not be a criterion. And the content will be totally static. It would be nice, though,...

Re: Page margins (white space) in Webhelp output with PP ski
Hi Tim, PMFJI: I am experimenting a little with a more "integrated" design, meaning no borders around the menu on the left side and the content on the right. Is it possible to modify the size of the vertical margin between the menu and the content? Can I get rid of the borders around the t...

Re: PP V3 Skin "EC Software" Menu in the Page Header
Thank you very much, Tim. I knew the option had to be somewhere … I had considered a full text search to find the correct baggage file. I believe I cannot search within baggage files? I thought about exporting all the skin's baggage files and then search them with an external tool like grep, but cou...

PP V3 Skin "EC Software" Menu in the Page Header
The V3 Webhelp skins include a small menu in the page header ("EC Software", "Tutorials", "Resources", "Information"). Can I customize resp. include/exclude this menu via a variable or an option setting? (Probably just didn't find it, because it was not obviou...

Re: Image scaling
Hi Martin, I have screenshots that should be displayed at their full width, if possible, and then scaled down if necessary. I have others that should be displayed at a maximum of e.g. 80 % of their true size, and then scaled down from there if necessary. But whether the maximum size should be 100 % ...

Re: Image scaling
Thank you, Martin, your input is much appreciated. I suspected that it was possible to achieve this behavior with the help of some additional scripting. I was just hoping that I could avoid that … The script affects all images on the page. In my case, the maximum size is not the same for all images ...

Re: Image scaling
Please allow me to add another detail feature request: We can have fixed-size images (e.g. 50 % of physical image size), but then the image is not zoomed when the window is to small to display it entirely, forcing the user to scroll horizontally. We can have "zoom to smaller" images over a...

Topic context menu – add "publish topic" function
Publishing currently is possible only for TOC entries. I am reworking quite a lot of topics that are only used as (paragraph) snippets. To check how they look like when published, I have to drag & drop each of them to the TOC to create a "dummy" entry, go to "Publish" and the...

Mouse wheel direction for zooming in and out
Right now I am working on some layout details where it is convenient to zoom in and out, in order to switch between a "details view" and an "overview". I do this zooming in and out alternatively in both the H&M editor and in the browser window, where I check the published res...

Remembering the "lock" status of table columns
We already discussed this issue in the past, but I don't remember whether it made it on the "official" Wish List. As I currently work a lot with tables, the "Lock Column" button is probably the most often used button of all, because I have to unlock the rightmost column in a huge...

Re: Bullet point setting lost when subsequent style is diffe
Hi Tim, thank you for your quick reply. Fundamentally, all the paragraphs in a list are supposed to have the same paragraph formatting. I was not aware of that. The reason I use different styles in lists is the following: I have a "list" paragraph style with two "sub-styles": &qu...

Bullet point setting lost when subsequent style is different
I experience the following effect: A paragraph style is applied to a paragraph. The style for the following paragraph is defined to be the same style (!). I apply a bullet point to the paragraph and enter some text. When I hit Enter, I get a new paragraph with the correct same style, and it also sta...
