Re: Headers ignoring template

Hi Tim-- Turns out I still need your help. The original solution worked for topics that are at the top of the hierarchy, but as the subtopics start nesting, the heading sizes on those Heading 1s automatically get smaller, to the point where they are the same size as the Heading 2s, 3s, 4s, etc. Coul...

Re: Headers ignoring template

Thanks, Tim.

You were right. It took a little more tweaking, but that's got it.

Re: Headers ignoring template

Hi Tim-- Sorry if I wasn't clear. I only tested a few topics with headings within the topic frame. THOSE topic headings are the ones that are acting correctly, and are sizing according to the specs that I set in the .mnl file. However, all the other topics (with only the Heading 1 titles set up outs...

Re: Headers ignoring template

Hi Tim- On a related note to this, I've been assigned to a new project, and the template was already built before I took it over. I'm trying to make it more readable, and one of the problems it had was that the Heading 1's were showing up smaller than the lower-level topics in the PDF. I think I man...

Thanks for this great workaround, Tim. I just tried it and it will work for what we need.

Re: Weird style issue...headings have turned italic.

Well, I figured it out.

All I had to do was reapply our Roboto Black Regular font, and that seems to have solved it.

So if anyone else has that problem, go into Styles, re-click on the font it SHOULD be, click OK and that should correct it.

Re: Weird style issue...headings have turned italic.

Hi Tim--

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, that wasn't it. I tried it both ways, and the headings stay italic no matter what. :(

Weird style issue...headings have turned italic.

Hi Tim and everyone-- One of our IT guys came over the other day to help with my monitor because it was doing some flickering. He installed some Windows updates to try to fix things, and just after this, my headings in Help+Manual strangely turned italic. We don't want them to be italic. :/ I checke...

Make indexing easier

Please can you guys add drag and drop or arrows or SOMETHING to make indexing easier, and allow you to move child topics more easily under parents? I find this indexing functionality (compared to RoboHelp or other tools I've used in the past) to be a nightmare. It takes me four times as long to do a...

Help with a Read-Only topic!

Hi all-- I had a quick meeting with my boss to show him all the nifty snippets I made, and made a change to a topic in his office. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint), our company security is quite tight, and it gets very protective when you unplug from the network then show ...

Thanks Tim, good to know.

There wasn't one originally set here when I started, and I'm learning the product a little at a time! :D

How do I de-select a default topic?

I accidentally selected the wrong thing when I right-clicked, and I cannot figure out how to de-select this item as a default topic. Can anyone help?

Hi gents--

Just wondering if there has been any change to this in the few years since this topic was posted.

Re: Print single topic as PDF

I'd be another person who REALLY wants to see a single topic, both as a printed version and in PDF. The number of clicks required for this is REALLY a pain. If I remember (it's been a few years since I had to use it), RoboHelp had a button at the top to "Print Selected Topic." I could take the topic...
