Re: convert svg to png on publication

Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but I'd really like an option to convert svg to png for epub output. An earlier version used to do this automatically, then it was updated to export svg to epub.

I wondered how much trouble it would be to convert all svg to png for epubs?

Thanks

I'd find that a very useful feature.

Comments for collaboration

Hi, I am working with other people on editing a large document, and it would be really useful if we could have a simple way to record and reply to comments during reviewing or editing. A single comment box per topic would work as a minimum, especially if it could be assigned a status (query, to amen...

audio: slide transitioning before audio has finished

Hello, I have some slides with several audio clips, set to autoplay. I thought that autoplay would not change slides until all animations (ie audio clips) were complete, but I am getting a second or so cut off on some slides. I've tried re-recording but it is still occuring. Any suggestions? Thanks ...

Re: EWriter on Chromebook

Interesting -- I think the main gripe here is that the kids want to do real computer things with major applications, and also run games. They also complain about the school's management of the devices, of course. 8) I should add, my son is doing civil engineering and I expected him to need a powerf...

Re: EWriter on Chromebook

My only experience with Chromebooks is with quite a few teenagers in our neighborhood who are forced to use them at school. Every single one of them despises their Chromebooks with an almost frightening passion. Mine has been the opposite; I bought my kids cheap (£160) Lenovo Chromebooks ...

Re: EWriter on Chromebook

If we get eWriter for Android, that would run on a Chromebook :)

Re: Tablet for ewriter

Hi Tim, My background is in field data collection, hence the need for something cheap, rugged (and not as big as an iPad) and with a proper all-day battery life. I was really disappointed with my iPad Mini! Really looking forward to the Mobile versions of eWriter. BTW, several people have assumed th...

Re: Tablet for ewriter

If I may Some sort of reader for Android is really needed I think.... I disagree about iPads being superior in *every* way - Android devices come in a much larger range, including ruggedised and waterproof, and some have a massive battery life. My Sony Z3 lasted 6 years, my iPad mini lasted 2 months...

Hotspot style

Hi,

I'd like to show hotspots without any shading or outlining, and to have a box appear when hovering, but no other effects.

I can't work out where the settings are, so a pointer would be appreciated.

Thanks

Plates and figures

This is probably a no, but I use a mix of photos and diagrams, and wondered if they could be captioned as such and form two indexes, Figures and Plates.

Thanks

Re: convert svg to png on publication

Or, the ability to convert all project images to png would be handy (it used to do this automatically, until I asked you to include svgs in export  )

Re: convert svg to png on publication

I mean alteration by opening and editing the svg file. In some cases I want to allow it, but in the majority a png would be better. I appreciate a png can be edited, but does not have the original drawing information contained in an svg. For example, in Word. I have found in epub on Android that svg...
