Style indents not the same
Hi all I have set up a style with indents, which I am happy with, and replaced the previous style with this one. But, for some reason the indents are not the same across all topics? I've tried to adjust the indents, but this all goes wrong. The only difference between these two topics are that one i...

Re: Alternative to Footnotes in HTML / PDF
Thanks Tim I was considering that too, I'll have another look. This is such a big amalgamation of a word document, made into a D2H document, converted back to RTF and imported into H&M. With all this stress and headache, it would have been easier to start from complete scratch and type the whole...

Alternative to Footnotes in HTML / PDF
Hi all I am converting a large, old RTF/Word document, which is full of footnotes and margin notes. I've figured out a way for the Margin notes, but wondering what options are available to display footnotes in the document? I know they're not available, but I can't go and add separate footnotes in t...

Re: Hyperlink colour in HTML Header
Thanks Tim I've tried all settings, but I seem to be doing something wrong somewhere. extra info: not all topic headers will have a 'Related to' link. These all refer to external (another helpfile or folder location), so it should only show when it's posted. I can get it to show as per image, it's j...

Re: Hyperlink colour in HTML Header
Hi Tim
Thank you for that. I do have those (with a couple of different entries), but which one is the header?
Normal hyperlinks still need to stay as is, but in the header, I need these to show differently (white) in the header.

Hyperlink colour in HTML Header
Hi all, I've looked at the CSS Style guide, and a few other topics here https://helpman.it-authoring.com/viewtopic.php?p=61166&hilit=change+link+colour#p61166 But I can't quite get this to work. I'm trying to change the colour of hyperlinks added to the header. I have a dark blue header, so the ...

ToC - Show header number and page number
Hi All I'm trying to match the current ToC to a document I'm converting into H&M. The page numbering on the word document is Heading1 number - followed by page number. However each Heading number / chapter restarts the page numbering So the page numbering system is as per ToC3 image. (1-1, 1-2, ...

Exclude Header (only) from ToC
Hi all, I am asking a really silly question, I know, but I've searched the online help, and maybe I'm just not entering the correct term? I have a couple of topics (eg. Preface) which I don't want the header to show in the Table of Contents, but the topic should be in the pdf / manual. How do I set ...

Re: PDF Bookmarks - change fonts for some topics
Thanks Tim
I thought as much. I've managed to find a workaround, which is editing the PDF itself on Acobe DC, which works fine and is just a few clicks.. I just need to remember to change it should I want to go ahead with this option

PDF Bookmarks - change fonts for some topics
Hi all I wonder if there's a possibility for the bookmarks to show two different ways? I have a document, which changes once a year, but all changes are reviewed and approved by the board. With my PDF being interactive, I was hoping to be able to show on the bookmarks of the online PDF which topics ...

Highlighting mouseover TOC on HTML
Hi all I'm trying to get my TOC to highlight when mouseover (like on the the H&M online help - https://www.helpandmanual.com/help/hm_ref.html ) but I can only get it to highlight on click. I know it's a setting somewhere, but I cannot find it for looking! Any pointers greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Re: PDF split topic
Hi Tim Thanks for the response. I've tried setting the page breaks to 'none' so they all continue - but no luck. I have one section for example where the content of two topics are quite short, but the one following is much longer, but starts on a new page, leaving nearly 2/3 blank page. I don't know...
