Re: Command Line does not return 0 when successful

Hi Philippe, #Help & Manual command line compiler version 7.2.0 build 4035 This probably isn't the cause, but before doing anything else, please update to the current version (7.3.2 Build 4260), because we can't do error-checking on outdated versions. I don't have experience with standard batch ...

Re: HM7-generated error report - who does it go to?

Hi Dave,

The automatic address is bugreport (AT) ec-software (DOT) com (you know how to make an address from that -- if we post it naked on the forum it will generate spam).

Re: HM7-generated error report - who does it go to?

Hi Dave,

That's odd, the address should be automatic. I don't remember it offhand and can't provoke an AV at the moment. I'll find out and let you know. :?

Re: Restoring .hmxz file

Hi Irina, An .hmxz file was accidentially overwritten by another version of it. Is it somehow possible to restore the original file? Not if it was overwritten, sorry. A great solution for things like this that has saved me many times is AJC Active Backup. It is inexpensive and provides outstanding b...

Re: 'Paintbrush' for Impict entities?

Rob Davis wrote:so, for example, one could update one callout to the required look-and-feel-, and then copy the properties to the other existing callouts in that file?

That's an interesting proposition. It isn't supported in Impict at the moment but I'll discuss it with our developers. 8)

Hi Dave,

The bug error report form goes directly to our developers, and only to them. 8)

Re: 'Paintbrush' for Impict entities?

Hi Rob,

Sorry, but the IPP files are compressed binaries so there's no way that you can batch copy settings within them. :?

Re: This "Productivity Tip" box: term for it + how I make on

Is there a way to get this kind of "Productivity Tip" formatting into Word DOCX output as well as WebHelp output? (It looks as though the instructions earlier in this thread apply to HTML outputs only). Yes, that's HTML only because it is only the CSS that makes it possible, and CSS isn't...

Re: case-sensitive search

Hi Olga, WebHelp search isn't case-sensitive. What has probably happened is that you have accidentally turned on support for single-case languages, which should only be on for Asian languages. You can find the setting in Project Explorer: Configuration > Publishing Options > WebHelp > Full Text Sear...

Re: Index icons not active in WebHelp Chrome

Hi Lamda, Welcome to the forum and Help+Manual! This is happening because you are testing your WebHelp locally without a web server. Once it is online it will work fine in Chrome, and you can also test locally in Chrome if Chrome is your default browser, so that the WebHelp opens in Chrome automatic...

Re: <TR> and <THEAD> content of style attribute gets reverte

Hi Michal, You can't edit anything in the XML that is not specifically defined in the Help+Manual XML schema. It is necessary to use strictly-defined XML with zero tolerance for any deviations, otherwise it would not be possible to reliably export to so many different output formats. You can only ap...

Re: WebHelp - after linking to anchor, return to same place?

Martin Wynne wrote:Just tried touching the icons instead of clicking them, and they work. :)

Yes, the problem is only on Windows touch devices. On normal desktop browsers without touch and on iOS and Android mobile devices it's fine. Should be an easy fix.
