Spell-checker punctuation.
Is there any way to specify what punctuation is passed to the spelling checker? For example I can enter and add TEST.TXT as a 'word' to be correct as a whole, but not TEST_TXT, which requires TXT to be added in order to be accepted, and then to be valid on its own, of course. It would be very useful...

Re: SnipSVG works well with Outlook and PowerPoint 365
Thanks for posting that info. I find that Thunderbird does the same when using 'attach from clipboard' in a message, and the attachment appears as a PNG. It is not clear to me whether the conversion is done by the sender or recipient, but so long as it works, I do not mind.

If this is not the place for comments on the Beta, please redirect! I like what I see in the Beta, and welcome what seems to be an excellent way to bring SVG to this party. But without one feature that I have not found, I may have to stick with the disadvantages of Snagit. Is there going to be a way...

Re: Zoom by ctrl+mouse wheel
That's a useful trick. But I found that it is first necessary to click in the topic to ensure that this control has focus.

It would be very useful to have the ability, with at most a single click or context-menu select somewhere, to scroll the TOC in order to bring the TOC entry for the currently visible topic into view half-way down the window.

Re: How To Always Exclude Topic From PDF Output
I don't often want to disable all, though I am aware that is possible for a single topic. What I would like to have is one variable which will exclude multiple topics on a related subject, without the need to find and modify each of them before and after creating a special non-standard build of the ...

Re: How To Always Exclude Topic From PDF Output
Would it be hard to implement a new main right-click menu item for topics, called 'exclude from builds'? It would look similar to the 'include' list but a match would force exclusion, overriding a matched 'include'. I can think of situations where I could use this. Or would this be too confusing?

Re: Automate Version Numbers on Publish
I should perhaps clarify that I only mentioned FinalBuilder earlier because we already used it to control the entire build process for our product. Running H&M from FB is just one task among dozens of others, but the critical thing is that FB is the only place where we increment the version numb...

Re: Automate Version Numbers on Publish
We use FinalBuilder to build a release version of our product and its help. And FB is our central place that always knows what version number it is building, for all components. So naturally we want FB to set the version for H&M too. Before running H&M, an FB build step can automatically wri...

Re: Syntax for e-book topic plus anchor
Can you please explain the benefit of preceding the e-book pathname with "ewriter://"? The ewriter documentation seems to include this in examples, but your sample Vcl.EwriterHelpViewer.pas (which I use, modified for our exe name) does not. The two command line parameters for our renamed e...

That download link is a bit 'loopy', Since I find that this issue affects one of the PDFs I build, can you please correct it?

Version 9 search dialog
Has the search/replace dialog intentionally changed in H&M version 9? In version 8 it was possible to click in a new topic while searching, then click Next in the open search dialog, and find the next occurrence of the search term in the selected topic . Now in version 9 the search always jumps ...

Minor feature request - Link Dialog
In the link dialog, it would be very useful to have a tab on the left named "Same Topic" which pre-filled the 'Target' field of the Topic Link dialog with the name of the current topic, to save having to scroll for it. It might also be clever to default to this item if the highlighted capt...
