Re: Text toggle that displays a screenshot ?

Hi Tim, Thank you very much for your prompt response. I was hoping to get a "middle-of-the-screen" popup of the screenshot as happens in an image toggle, rather than an "inline-with-text" appearance, as happens for text toggles (my text links will be in the middle of a bulleted p...

Text toggle that displays a screenshot ?

Hello,

I would like to have a text toggle (ie. the toggle is based on text) that displays a screenshot when clicked on.
I could not find a way to achieve this. Is this possible ?
Very best regards,

Olivier

Re: How To Always Exclude Topic From PDF Output

But you can already do this, just disable all. But then the topic would never appear. Right ? I think that, as Tim Frost suggested, it would be good to have an exclude option, or to segregate the "Output Format Builds" from the "Custom Builds", so that one can manage multiple ve...

Re: How To Always Exclude Topic From PDF Output

Hi Tim, I don't know how others are using this, but for me the Custom Builds refer to different versions of the software and I need the PDF format exclusions to work regardless if generating the documentation for the light version or the full version of my software. Would it be possible to have an o...

Re: How To Always Exclude Topic From PDF Output

Hi Tim, Thank you for your prompt reply. What you suggest is the way I expected the Include options to work, but they do not. If you look at the screenshot below, the selected topic will appear in the PDF if I generate the PDF with the XV4 custom build, regardless if the PDF format is unchecked. Ver...

<%TOPICHELPCONTEXT%>

Hello,

The variable <%TOPICHELPCONTEXT%> appears in the H&M documentation but does not seem to be available in the software's UI.

How To Always Exclude Topic From PDF Output

Hello, There are some topics that are part of a custom build but that I never want to appear in the PDF version. But it seems that it is not possible to exclude topics, only to not include them. The difference being that not included topics might still be included if they are part of a custom build....

Re: Anchors not available in hotspot editor

Hi Tim, The issue seems to arise when linking to the same topic, as it is pre-selected on the right (a nice feature). But, if as you suggest, I re-select the pre-selected topic, then the list of anchors is filled-out. It seems that despite the current topic being preselected, one needs to manually r...

Anchors not available in hotspot editor

Hello,

When editing an image's hotspots, the list of anchors for the selected topic is not available (or at the very least it is not for links to anchors of the same topic).

Very best regards,

Olivier

Kudos for v9 HTML cleanup

Hello Tim, hello Alexander, As I do a lot of pre- and post- processing of the XML files of H&M, I have been doing a detailed comparison of files generated with HM9 as compared to HM8 and I noticed that a lot of redundant start/stop/start of the same formatting across text is cleaned-up in HM9 (i...

Re: Screenshot toggle no longer pre-fills image filename

Hi Tim,

Sorry about this; I could swear that all I could see was "add a toggle".
Of course, what i needed was "convert to toggle".
Sorry for the trouble.
Very best regards,

Olivier

Screenshot toggle no longer pre-fills image filename

Hello, In the past, when I selected an image and clicked on "insert an image toggle", the filename of that selected image was already filled-in (as was its default % size and position in text). But, now, at least since the December and February builds, the function "insert an image to...
