Re: HM2Go in Win 11 requiring permission
Found the solution in Windows Defender, added HM2Go.exe in Network settings.

HM2Go in Win 11 requiring permission
I have just updated my PC to Win 11 and after compiling my H&M project, HM2Go is not getting allowed by Win 11. Please advise.
Thanks

Re: which skins have index?
Even if I agreed that none of our users ever consulted the index, I use it myself so often, whenever I need to find a topic or anchor to direct people to, that I would never consider dropping it. But this is another old git speaking! I even wrote a little utility that I can use here, whenever I hav...

Re: which skins have index?
Sorry, still a bit confused. Turns out I'm actually using a V5 Modern Flexible Keyboard skin, not a Cool Max one.
Which of these are Compact Modern? Is it V4 Advanced?
Will a V4 Modern Standard have an index? I ask because adapting a skin is quite laborious.

which skins have index?
I have been using the V5 Cool Max Skins but I'm an old git, used to an index and I still want an index to be available. (I'm one of those weirdos who finds them useful and who finds "cool max" a bit off-putting as a label.) Maybe an Index you have to click to get to. Can one be made option...

Matching colours?
Using V5_CoolMax_EmeraldGreen_Webhelp skin, I get this bannr.png with my program logo based on a certain green roughly matching the green around the search. The header menu colours look a bit "washed-out". The colour match is quite good. I am assuming that changing the whole colour of the ...

Re: TOC re-arranging
I had an item "what's new" etc which I had moved to this position problem1.png I then pressed the left arrow because I don't want that item to be a child, and got problem1.png RE the clicking. Imagine you have an item in the Project Explorer you want to move up 6 positions. You ought to be...

TOC re-arranging
Build 5473.
Just to report a minor issue with re-arranging topics in Project Explorer. The 4 left/up/down/right buttons lose focus after one moves an item, one has to re-select the item. This makes it harder to re-arrange items. And a few times I have had a crash when moving items.
Cheers -- Mike

Re: skin colours
Thanks, Tim I tried that -- it failed. BUT then I bethought myself of the means of publishing. I use Directory Opus to synchronise. It had an excessively simple check setting in operation, so some of the files with the same date weren't getting copied over. Fixed that and all is now well. :D Sorry t...

Thanks, Tim
I understand, no problem.
Suggest you update the wording in H&M 8 Help: Basic Working Procedures | Creating Topic Files | Topic Headers.

Re: skin colours
When a test project using the same skin is published, it looks fine, colours correct in the TOC.
(But suffers from the same problem I reported of an image not appearing in the Topic Header.)

Images in Topic Heading
I put an image in the image repository and referred to that exact same image both in the heading and the body of a topic. search1.png In the output whether published or not the image disappears from the heading: search2.png (I'm using the Minimalist White skin) It's not essential but does contradict...

skin colours
I have edited the Minimalist_Plain_White_WebHelp.hmskin to give colours I want and the main topic pages are as I like. The TOC is strange though: search3.png That is when published. skin_colours.png And here it is when not published: search2.png However much I clear cache and change browser I cannot...
