Re: Picture-in-Picture possible
Hi Tim, I seem to be indefinitively clumsy (or unexperienced I want to think) How do I 'positioning the slide you want to jump to inside the other slide'??? I tried the intuitive ones like D&D,C&P, evven loked at linking and HTML editing. Sorry to be a pain, /Gerold Did you succeed? I use t...

Re: Big projects cannot be previewed or published, they can be saved
It seems that this is related to MS OneDrive as Tim suggested. When a file used by HelpXplain is being synchronised, one of the errors mentioned may occur. Retrying it directly, or else when switching between windows or worse case after a HelpXplain has been restarted will most of the time allow me ...

Big projects cannot be previewed or published, they can be saved
Big projects cannot be previewed or published (or I don't know how). I am able to save them though. HMX-ProjectTooBig.png Left: Error when publishing | Right:Error when previewing I'm working on a big project, now 82 slides, and I am not able to publish it nor can I preview it. I had had the problem...

Re: Export to YouTube
The screen capture is also a good alternative. Just make the browser full screen and use Windows internal capture capabilities. <Windows key> + <Alt> + <R> or indirectly using the Game Bar (<Windows key> + <g>). It may need a bit of editing or at least trimming, this could be done with Windows Photo...

Re: Texboxes cut off the 'desenders' of the characters in the last line
Is there a way I can provide you with a screenshot, short of putting it online and creating a link to it? You post screenshots with the Attachments tab below the posting editor. Make sure that the cursor in the editor is in the position where you want to place the image before clicking on Place Inl...

Re: Texboxes cut off the 'desenders' of the characters in the last line
See the image below. 1. I have a text box on a green rectangle shape. The text is in the font type 'Raleway', pt.27. The last line loses it's desenders (like the tails of the 'y', 'g' and 'p'). 2. When I select the text it become even more clearer, the edge of the text box ends before the desenders ...

Re: Texboxes cut off the 'desenders' of the characters in the last line
Just tested, I will also cut them off in other fonts like 'arial'.

Re: Texboxes cut off the 'desenders' of the characters in the last line
Hi Tim, I use: Home -> Text This creates a text, and the last line in that text (at least in the font we use, 'Raleway') will have cut-off desenders. Is there a way I can provide you with a screenshot, short of putting it online and creating a link to it? The image in my post above is not a screensh...

Texboxes cut off the 'desenders' of the characters in the last line
When the last line of my text box has characters with 'desenders', characters with parts below the baseline like a low capital 'g', that desender is not fully shown, and you are not allowed to make the box bigger. The work-around is to create an empty new line. This image is an example on the Intern...

Re: Customize Theme
Yes, I understand the 'stylesheet copy' method from a template xplain. But when I do that, I will only get the assigned colours, I will not be able to choose from the other colours defined in the colour dialogs in the xplain document.
Or am I mistaken?

Re: Customize Theme
I am a bit disappointed that custom colours are/cannot be saved (or I just do not know how). We have 15 brand-defined colours, and in PowerPoint these can be stored. In HX it seems that not only are the custom colours stored separately for different objects (text, background, shapes, etcetera), but ...

We are using it to explain procedures and functions of our KUARIO (https://kuario.com/) product.
Very keen on being able to interactively fire off animations, but we are using the software actively already and loving it!

Re: Roadmap for HelpXplain
Looking forward to the slide templates. What I am really, really missing now, is a function to save the custom colours (we've got 15 brand colours), and when you create them in a colour dialog, they will have gone the next time you open the Xplain and so you cannot pick the colours but have to look ...
