Re: Application Error ECHMSYN.DLL

I am running Windows 10 workstation. If it is not something that will cause a problem, I can handle the annoyance. I was just concerned that it was something that could have an adverse effect on my projects and/or files. Thank you! -LG

Application Error ECHMSYN.DLL

I am getting the error below when I close H&M. Other than that it seems to be working OK, but I'm concerned this is going to eventually cause some problem. And I've actually had weird things happen with TortoiseSVN so I'm wondering if this affected it? I have Subversion disabled because I do not...

V3 Reponsive Skins and Sorting Tables

I updated my help site using a new V2 responsive skin, but have noticed that the sorting tables are not working. Does this skin not support them? Thx. -LG

V3 Responsive Skin Font Size Too Large

I've searched the forums and help and found a few topics related but cannot seem to find a solution. My font sizes in the project are set to Tahoma 10 and then 13 heading 2 (to be consistent with the application), but when I publish to webhelp, the fonts look huge in the browsers. Just based on the ...

Re: ASP.NET MVC Site and Zoom Search

Thank you for the quick responses. I'll see if I can get more info from Wrensoft. Perhaps there are some manual changes I can make after I publish.
Kind regards,
Lisa

Re: ASP.NET MVC Site and Zoom Search

I know it doesn't work locally. That is what is happening on the web server. The Developer deployed the files to a directory on a web server running ASP.NET MVC and IIS and that is the result. Per the Developer, we are not routing to the files directly. We are using custom routing so it is not servi...

Re: ASP.NET MVC Site and Zoom Search

We have tried. If we use the ASP option, the search page won't display. We get the attached errors. Then if I choose the ASP.NET option, we of course can't publishing from H&M.

Re: ASP.NET MVC Site and Zoom Search

I've upgraded everything (H&M 7.2.0 and Premium Pack 3.21) but I need to use ASP.NET, not classic ASP in Zoom Search. The screenshot in the ZoomFull21.doc indicates PHP or ASP only. And there is only ASP option in the H&M configuration. Please advise. Thx!

ASP.NET MVC Site and Zoom Search

2:31 CST - Well I have Zoom Search configured correctly, but I get an error message when publishing in H&M. So, does this mean that H&M will not support ASP.NET Zoom Search? Added a screenshot of the error. ********************************************** Adding an update. I found the followin...

Re: Retain upper case letter in webhelp htm filenames

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I'll just manually reconcile it until I can get our application updated. Thank you for the quick reply!

Retain upper case letter in webhelp htm filenames

We recently switched from Windows to an Apache web server which of course is case-sensitive. I had just copied the Topic ID under Topic Options when creating the helpIDs in our application to ensure they matched exactly but, when I publish Webhelp it converts all filenames to lower-case. I tried put...

Keywords in Word Output Display in Body

I kept having random text show up next to Section headings in the body of the Word output and finally figured out it is the keywords. Any thoughts on why the keywords are also displaying within the body of the document with "XE" prefix enclosed in curly brackets? Screenshot attached. Note ...

That was it. Not sure how I missed that -- I even searched the help. I should have searched again after taking a break from it before posting. Thank you!

Variables in Word Stop Working Randomly

For the Word output, the <%TITLE%> variable on my cover page is working, but it stopped working in the header section on the subsequent pages. It just still has the variable in the document. This happened last week as well but it stopped working everywhere. I got the original template that came with...
