Re: Zoom indexer does not complete the indexing
Hi, Thanks to Tim for this help on this issue. The problem was caused by Windows permissions. Let me explain. I’m not the Admin of my PC. The company I work for implemented “Admin by Request” to “control” what is installed on our PCs. Since I was not the Admin of my PC, Zoom could not generate the s...

Hi Tim,
I'm preparing a small demo project, .hmskin skin file and Zoom configuration file. I'll be sending them to support.

Re: Zoom indexer does not complete the indexing
Hi Tim, Do you mean that I must copy the .zcfg configuration file in the folder where I’m publishing the help? In my example that would be: C:\Users\Sonia\Documents\Zoom I tried that, and it doesn’t work either. The topics are generated, but the index doesn’t compile. I’m baffled by this. I’m probab...

Re: Zoom indexer does not complete the indexing
Hi Tim, There is not much information in the Zoom compiler report. I just have the following. Nothing else. 02|05/11/23 12:19:41|Config file loaded: C:\Users\Sonia\my_sigmarh_france_c_sonia.zcfg Settings in the Zoom Configuration file. Zoom_Config.png In Zoom indexer, I do not click on Start indexin...

C:\Users\Sonia\Documents\Zoom Second attempt I changed the configuration file .zcfg and published to the following e...

Zoom indexer does not complete the indexing
Hi, Since I changed my PC, Zoom indexer does not complete the indexing. In the project settings: • I selected the check box “Use my installed version of Zoom to generate the full-text search.” • I chose the ZoomIndexer.exe (installed on the PC) and the configuration file .zcfg configured per the Zoo...

Re: Updating the form on the Full text search pane
Tim,
Thank you for the quick response. I’ll pass down your answer to our UX designer.
For a start, I’ll change the instructions in the SEARCH_HOWTO (it’s a quick fix). I doubt that we will have the time/budget to change the script coming from Zoom and tweak the skin scripts and CSS.
Regards,
Sonia

Updating the form on the Full text search pane
Hi, Is there a way to reorder the elements on the full-text search pane? Our UX designer would like it if I could change the layout of the form. I know that I can change the instructions located at the top (Number 1 in the screen capture below). In the Premium Pack Toolbox, there is an option called...

Re: Clicking on search result opens a second browser tab – Zoom indexer
Tim,
Thank you so much for the quick update. With the new .js file, I don’t open a second browser tab when I click on a search result.

Sonia Guimond

Clicking on search result opens a second browser tab – Zoom indexer
We are implementing a test project with Zoom indexer and Help & Manual. I read the Zoom Full Version Instructions and followed the recommendations to set up the Zoom indexer configuration file. (Thanks, by the way for this document!) Once the help is generated, if I do a full-text search, and th...

Changing logo – Boxed skin
Hi, I’m using the skin “Boxed_Plain_Grey_WebHelp” from Premium Pack 4.3.0. I’m having difficulty changing the logo at the top left corner. I added our logos as baggage files. I have two .png logos (one for desktop and one for mobile). Both these logos have approximately the same size as the initial ...

Missing snippets from repository
Hi, I am using a snippet repository and when I generate Webhelp (either from a .bat file or by publishing “manually” from a project), I am getting the following error message. missing_snippet_batch.png I have been using the snippet repository extensively, but never seen this problem before. When I a...

Re: Highlight for search words
Hi Tim,
I upgraded to 3.47 and the highlights are showing if the words are found in the body of the topic.
Thanks for the prompt reply. I've been using H&M since 2006, and I'm always amazed by the quality of responses from this forum. Keep the good work.

Sonia
