Re: External File Links in HTML Help
Hi Tim, having managed to lose the parser function from my help project, I came back to this topic to restore the functionality. Having restored it to the default topic, I found I had a load of compilation errors, caused the the slash in the closing IF_CHM tag being the wrong way round. </script><\I...

Re: Trouble using multi-user edit with VCS connected
Tim,
I am using Help and Manual version 5.5.0 build 1273 at the moment.
Are there any plans to integrate with Team Foundation Server in the future as this would be our migration path from Visual Source Safe?
Regards,
Richard

Re: Trouble using multi-user edit with VCS connected
Hi,
I am also experiencing the issue with the ToC not being refreshed when "refresh project" is pressed. It is quite awkward and has required me manually reapply changes which have been lost when users have checked in updates which didn't include other users changes.

Re: Multi user editing problem
Hi Tim,
only one user is making changes to the ToC, but the other users cannot pick up the changes unless they check out the ToC. I would have expected doing a Refresh Project to update the local ToC if it is not checked out by the user.

Richard

Multi user editing problem
Hi, we have three users updating our help project which is linked to Microsoft Visual Source Safe and we have set the project to use manual check in/out. We have found that when one user updates the table of contents and checks in the changes, this doesn't refresh on the other users projects until t...

Re: Include in Builds resetting to "None"
Hi Tim, unfortunately, the topic names are a legacy from the naming conventions we used when our help was generated using Robohelp and there are far too many to change in the short term. We are using different naming conventions for new topics. I have created a zip of the project, but it is 40Mb and...

Include in Builds resetting to "None"
Hi, I have been combining a number of topics within my help project which were used as alternative topics for different builds (this was necessary to provide context links to the topics). Having merged the topic text, I then changed the include in builds property to All builds. This appeared to be c...

Topic Filename truncation
Hi, I'm adding new topic files to my help project which I recently created from a Robohelp .chm. When I create new topic files, the filename is truncated to 30 characters although the dialogue allow entry of many more. This limit seems slightly odd as many of my imported topic have much longer names...

image link\insert error after .chm conversion
I have converted a .chm into a help and manual project and found after conversion that a series of .gif files in one topic were showing the wrong image. Reselecting the correct file using the insert->Image dialogue (using the thumbnail view to ensure I was selecting the correct file) didn't help, th...
