Re: Keyword search in Skin "Webhelp, Responsive Grey, Keywordslist.hmskin"
Hi Marc, This is a rather old function that only really works well with relatively short keyword indexes. If you have a longer index I recommend using one of the skins without the keyword list function, or one of the Premium Pack skins with index support, which have a proper index search function. :?

Re: Unclosed <h1> leads to empty heading line in V5 CoolMax
Hi Birgit, Thanks for reporting this. This is a simple typo in the source code of the template that didn't get found because current browsers are so forgiving of errors like this. You can fix it with a simple edit. Open the .hmskin file in Toolbox (make sure you have configured your code editor in P...

Re: Resizing text
Hi Taylor, The Premium Pack skins include an option for the user to resize the text within the user interface. You can see this in action in the online version of the Help+Manual documentation here: https://www.helpandmanual.com/help/index.html Select the hamburger menu at the top right and there yo...

Re: Content reflow
Thank you for this. I don't believe we have tables on most pages but we still have issues with this, unless you mean the table of contents? We would need to see an example with the specific content you are using, along with the specific skin you are using to generate your WebHelp. You can mail it t...

Re: Premium Pack 5.2 update released
I might be not awake yet, but I cannot see a download link for this on the page There isn't a public download link for the Premium Pack. This is because there cannot be a "demo" version because skins are source code and there is no way to make that time-limited. As explained in the postin...

Re: Hide Navigation section
By the way: If you just want to hide the "No topics above this level" text all you need to do is edit the corresponding text variable in the skin, in Configuration > Common Properties > Text Variables. Just replace that text with a single space. You can't remove the "Navigation:"...

Re: Hide Navigation section
So..is it possible to hide/remove it? At least I will be able to hide it for the main "chapter" (that one that will not have a "parent chapter")? If you hide it, it's hidden and the entire functionality will be gone. If you really want to do this: 1) Edit the .hmskin file in Hel...

Re: Hide Navigation section
You don't need to remove this and you really shouldn't. Select a subtopic in the contents and you will see what it's for. It helps your users to know where they are, and when they are deep in a chapter it displays a row of "breadcrumb" links that allow them to navigate up in the current ch...

Re: Translating SnipSVG
This isn't currently possible because you can't access the effects objects without "opening" the bitmap, and you can't replace the bitmap while it's open for cropping or effects editing.Simon_Dismore wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 6:22 am How do I change the underlying screenshot while preserving the blur overlay?

Re: Translating SnipSVG
It's an overlay. Double-click on the bitmap and you can then adjust or delete the overlay.Simon_Dismore wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 3:50 pm But currently the blur is permanent in the SnipX file too.

Re: Translating SnipSVG
Hi Simon, At least in SVG, having the blur and pixelate effects hard-baked is a feature because it ensures that the hidden information can never be recovered. If the user needed to "un-overlay" it there would be a very high risk of information leakage in production images. If you save as S...

Re: Best practices for linking to anchors?
Hi Marc, Broken anchors for links that are still OK as far as the topic is concerned aren't flagged automatically within the project. However, as soon as you publish you will get warnings in the compiler report that links refer to a missing anchor, along with links to the affected topics so that you...

Re: Content reflow
Hi Taylor,
If you avoid tables and only use images formatted for responsive behavior (Width: % of page width, maximum is physical width") then it should work fine in WebHelp.
