Re: Problem publishing numbered lists

OK, I will create a specific paragraph style with hanging indentation, because our tutorials have lots of lists with exercises, and they usually have more than ten items, and up to version 5.2 this was not an issue.

Thanks.

Re: Problem publishing numbered lists

I am having an issue with this new feature. When the numbered list has more than nine items, the following items appear as if they were under the text. The figure below shows how the list appears on a CHM: http://i50.tinypic.com/jzxgrl.png Then I went to the source code inside the CHM and I noticed ...

Re: Sending search variables to a CHM by using File Link fea

Our problem is that we have a system that sends user information about a topic to a database, and the code resides on a custom HTML Page Template. But that way the file size increased significantly, due to the number of topics (2000+) and also some java script code needed to build a feedback form. S...

Sending search variables to a CHM by using File Link feature

Hi, I have the following scenario: several CHM files that point to a single CHM file. This single CHM should know from which CHM it is being opened. For this, I've tried option Insert Hyperlink - File Link , setting its parameters as: File name: hh.exe Execution parameters:target.chm::/intro.htm?fro...

Re: Centered text and images rendered left justified

I have just downloaded H&M 6 Demo and noticed that same issue. Apparently changing Image Caption style paragraph to Center does not affect PDF output, only CHM. Generated PDF keeps aligning the paragraph to the left. Please let me know if you find a solution.
Thanks.

We are linking to a web page and the behavior is different between IE7 and IE8. The first one opens normally and the second one does not. The IE8 machine is running Windows 7, but we also tested on Vista and it did not work as well. We are going to test with XP and IE8.

Sorry, there is a little misunderstanding. We are generating a CHM with an internet link inside it. Using the Test button in the Internet Link tab of the Edit Hyperlink window works fine with IE8, but when we generate the CHM file and click this link on the same machine (IE8) nothing happens, not ev...

Humm, I suspected that the answer would be something like this

Anyway, thanks for clarifying the CHM behaviour on internal variables. We will modify the tool to handle this specific situation.

Thank you,

Julio Cesar Santos.

How to embed document properties in CHM files

Hi, I am starting to use H&M because at our software house we are moving our documentation to CHM format. We formerly used DOC format to type and format and then generated PDFs. As Word has the Properties window (with information like Author, Title, Keywords, etc.) we developed an automated syst...
