You cannot do this exactly. What you can get is 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2 numbering.

You can set this in the properties dialog of the topic pages. Select the Topics page. Then open Edit>> Edit Properties (Ctrl+E). In the dialog change the "Page numbering style:" to Numeric/Numeric.

The copyright notice will go away. The modifications done by the evaluation version depends on a valid serial number found by H&M on the machine. The program is the same, meaning there is no special demo build for H&M.

Hi Tobiasz,

this splash screen will not be displayed in the licensed version. I use the command line for building my modular help using a cmd-File (complete help consists of 25 modules for each language). If you get it running interactive you can be sure it will run in a scheduled task too.

You can avoid remembering the positions of the HTML Help. Search for the file hh.dat. It's in a folder ...\Microsoft\HTML Help of each user. Delete this file, create an empty one and make this file unwriteable. I don't know if setting it to read-only will do it otherwise you need to set the security...

Dear Kathrin,

you can control the ouput format and the include options via the command line. This is done via the "/I"-parameter. It is explained in H&M Help under More Advanced Procedures > Command line options > Output to multiple formats.

Dear Ed, this is dependent to which format you are compiling. In HTML Help the viewer will break between the '1' and '('. If you compile to Browser based help and use Firefox there is no line break. Firefox keeps '401(k)' together. I have not tested how other browsers will handle this but I expect t...
