Carolyn, Hanging indents won't work without a tab stop. This is the only place that you can safely use tabs in output destined for HTML-based formats, and it is also a place where you must use tabs. The tab defines the hanging indent and is converted into a stable table structure in your HTML-based ...

Hi Ivar, I did what you told me and its working ok in browser based help, but when I create a PDF file the complete topic text is included for each TOC entry. Yes, of course -- the TOC entry shows that topic, so that topic is included. If you don't want it to do this you must tag the copies so that ...

Matthias, Update: After further testing as far as I can see this problem only occurs if you have toggle images in tables. If the expanded toggle is wider than a certain maximum the text in the neighboring column gets squeezed so much that it can no longer be displayed properly and some of it gets cu...

Elmira, If you replaced the <%DOCCHARSET%> variable with an explicit character set declaration you can ignore the error message. It simply means that the <%DOCCHARSET%> variable was not found. You are then entirely responsible for making sure that you are using the correct charset, but apart from th...

Luba, Thanks for reporting this. This happens when you have UTF-8 on (which you need) and the text containing the < and > characters is coded as ANSI. The workaround for the moment is to switch on "Force Unicode" in your language settings. Then select the texts containing the characters an...

Tina,

I've mentioned this to the developers already and they are aware of it. However, from their rather Delphic responises I think there may be technical reasons for it -- it's possible that it is going to stay this way... 8)

Matthias,

Thanks for reporting this. This is not a problem with the non-scrolling header template but with the code of the toggles themselves. If you manually expand the toggles on your page and then print you will get the same effect. The EC programmers will have to investigate it.

I'm afraid I don't understand what it is you want to do. Could you try to describe it in a little more detail? What do you mean by "page editor"? And what do you mean by "including them in the TOC"??

Anja, It is very unlikely that the images have anything to do with it, even if they are embedded. When you compile to CHM they get extracted and converted anyway before the HTML Help compiler even sees them, so there is not really any difference there. Since deleting topics made it possible to inclu...
