Re: **URGENT** HM6 Suddenly Going Into Expired Trial Mode
Doesn't make all that much difference really -- we have users in every time zone. Happy New Year! Happy New Year, Tim and EC Software. Thanks for the H&M6 fix. Must have been a mad scramble there in the EC office for a while? I wonder how the Samoans coped losing Fri 30 Dec from their calendar ...

Should work fine.

2. Check that the code does actually appear in the final published HTML output in the browser

Re: Version history
Tim, I for one would really appreciate a cumulative Change Log (version history) link on the download page of the website for every single dot release (major and minor) detailing all the tweaks and mods e.g. Alexander's post in the News blog about 6.0.1 Build 2310 is excellent info but I'm not in th...

Re: Premium Pack Free Upgrade ?
Yes, that's better.
A couple of questions which still pop up in the forums could also be addressed there
1) how do I know which version of PP I already have?
2) how do I obtain the free upgrade to PP 1.5?

Re: Premium Pack Free Upgrade ?
And can you please clarify your upgrade web page to avoid others falling into the same trap? Must admit, I find the wording of the webpage regarding the Premium Pack rather confusing, especially for those who already own the Premium Pack. I think there needs to be a clear explanatory note on the we...

Re: Publishing to webhelp
changes to the tables don't seem to have any effect. Can you give us an example of what sort of change you want to make and how you're trying to implement it? In H&M, there are table styles. http://help.ec-software.com/index.html?hm_working_tables_styles.htm For more sophisticated options, if y...

Re: Publishing to webhelp
Susan,
What exactly do you want to change?
Are you familiar with CSS (Cascading Stylesheets)?
The quickest way is to insert CSS code into the HTML template inside H&M.

Re: Images folder on Output
This is a long standing feature request

We've yet to see if it will ever be implemented in a future version of H&M.

Re: Turning off print feature for Webhelp
Tim's right in that you cannot prevent determined users from printing any web page. e.g. View > Source then print or Print Screen or other means. However you can discourage casual, convenient printing (print button or File > Print in a browser) by adding the following into your HTML Webhelp template...

I don't see any advantages of a CHM over Webhelp.
Webhelp is so much more useful and versatile.

Re: Can't get premium pack skins to look right
Does it seem the use of CHM help files is fading out out in favor of WebHelp? Without a doubt. Most software I use daily (Microsoft, Adobe) uses some form of Webhelp. Adobe's however seems to get slower, clunkier, harder-to-use with each new version. Their current Help system is appalling. The cont...

Re: scrollbar freezes
Hmm, odd. I've been running H&M for over 5 years and never had a problem with any setting being wiped out while upgrading.
Nevertheless is your scrollbar issue fixed or does it still freeze occsionally?
