Re: Table Styles - Keyboard Shortcut?
Thanks for the suggestion of XML. The "standard reply" has a lot of words... and it's sooo early in the morning.. :) I may just go with what I'm doing now, save me breaking this file (which happens more often than not). Do you need me to add the request to the wishlist? Also, it would be g...

Table Styles - Keyboard Shortcut?
Hi all, I've just spent a good few weeks working on a new layout while updating the text and style. And (as usual), I changed my mind now. I have a LOT of Toggles (tables) which the expanded table has a border. I now don't like the border anymore and want to apply a new style. Unfortunately the old ...

Re: Project Explorer Colors
Hello Lee,
Which version of H&M are you using?
Attached is an image of my topic options, and all of them has an option to change the status.
I'm not sure why there doesn't seem to be any option to change on yours though?

Re: Urgent: IE9 HTML broken
Hi Mark. I just want to mention that I tried the link with IE9 here, and the same happens. I can view it on FF. I have had other issues with IE9 as well.. I'm sure that this is something to do with Microsoft and IE9.. making life difficult for everyone else out there. On a different (but related) ma...

Re: Project Explorer Colors
Lee,
I don't know why there is a colour you can't change? I have changed all my colours to what suits me, and don't have a dark blue left.
Unless you are referring to the published Table of Contents (when you select the topic in the help file) ?

Re: Project Explorer Colors
Hi Lee, If you right click on a topic and go to Topic Status, there is an option right at the bottom of the text box displayed to "define Custom Topic Status" (you can also get to this via Project > Change > Topic Status > define custom topic status) Once you have selected the required sta...

Re: Chapter without text
Hi Victor,
There is an option to convert the chapter to a chapter without text if you right click on the topic and select "convert to chapter without text".
Hope this helps

Re: Real keyboards for writers
Noticed this thread and thought I'd have a look what is out there... http://walyou.com/14-most-weird-keyboads-to-own/ One of our admin colleagues have a 'batmobile' keyboard, which looks fantastic. I'm using a bog standard keyboard which makes me feel the effects after a long day of writing. Another...

Re: Remove Highlighting from Search results
Thanks for the reply, John
I was more referring to the actual help file itself. When doing a search, the results come up with highlighted - which is good. But then there is an option on the web help itself to remove highlighted text.
Salesforce's online help is such an example.

Remove Highlighting from Search results
Hi all, While having a nosey on the web, I stumbled across an online helpfile that was created with MadCap Flare. - I wasn't very impressed with it though (H&M documents look much better in my opinion). anyhoos... I noticed there was an option to Remove Higlighting from search results, which I f...

Re: Network drive issue
Ivan,
I'm sorry I couldn't be of any help. Maybe it would have been more help had I actually worked on a network with somebody else !
Tim will help and point you in the right direction.

Re: Styles defined in xml skin are ignored in the output
Hi Juraj, Is it only the PDF export that shows different styles? I noticed that you are using a unique font, and Adobe reader doesn't always like 'new' things. If you try with a different font, (perhaps one of the lesser used Standard Windows Font), does it still happen? See THIS thread where it pri...

Re: Network drive issue
Hi Ivan, Sorry for the misunderstanding. After having a read through the help file, it seems you can't edit a topic at the same time . Another option is to host remotely . My apologies if these suggestions are not of any help. I'm sure Tim will come to the rescue soon enough :o (And tell me off for ...

Re: Network drive issue
Hi Ivan, I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I think this could be your problem (and possibly solution)? Note the following from that page: "Security restrictions in Windows now prevent access to HTML Help files network drives and the Internet. File links in HTML Help files will now ge...
