Re: Translating mutliple projects and repository

Hi Tim, I played around a lot more. Instead of using a repository for the snippets I can also use a normal project. This will allow to synchronize normally. Next I applied a skin to the HTML output. Translating mutliple projects and repository

I'm going to setup our documentation with H&M. I'm experienced in creating single language projects as normal projects and modular projects with build time and run time merging for HTML, Web help and PDF. My new task now is to setup the documentation for translation and having common topics in a...

Re: Case Study: CyBio

Beside the contents about integrating H&M there is some duplicted text.

Under the heading "The Solution" the next chapters are duplicated. It is the one left of the picture and the one below the picture.

The settings for H&M 4 is stored in the registry for every user. The path within the registry is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ECSOFTWARE. In the root of the user profile (I think the paths are different from XP) should be a file named NTUSER.DAT. You can open this file with the registry editor (Fi...

I had the same using the internal converter. The reason was that I didn't had write permission to the folder where the H&M 4 project was located. I copyed the project and all used folders from the search path to a folder where I have full access. Then I could convert it. The error message could ...

But only if you do not take into account all the Mac and Linux users.

From another programmers forum I know there is a strong move away from the Microsoft formats to the Open Office formats.

I recently have the need for a remote desktop session. A software vendor needed to analyze a tricky problem on my private machine. The session was stable and living even after a neccessary reboot of my machine.

My local machine was connected over WLAN and cable modem with my ISP.

Since you do not install the application locally I would suggest to do the following: Get the path to the Common AppData folder from the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders. Create the Subfolders modestbv\watchit and put executable.chm t...

Jessica,

as far as I remember his suggestion was to install a PDF printer driver like FreePDF or PDFCreator. In H&M then choose not to publish but to print the manual.
