Hi Mike,mike92117 wrote:I was trying to do this in a CHM.
Out of interest I have now tried compiling to CHM (with the Flash files added
to the Baggage files) and it worked fine.
I seem to recall an option in Camtasia to include/exclude the playback controls,
but just at the moment I can't find it.

Re: Using Flash videos with controls
I would like to use Flash videos (as produced with Camtasia). If I publish the Camtasia video as Flash, I get an HTML file (which I add manually as code in the dialog box) and a small SWF file and XML config file in addition to the movie SWF itself. I added the small SWF file, an XML config file as...

Re: Version 4.1 (XML)
Having said that. I have no idea of the purpose of XML. Hi John, I agree that it hasn't been very well explained. The main use is in the translation of your text into a different language, by someone else. You send them an XML file exported from H&M. They translate it and send it back. You then...

Try H&M's own Browser-based Help (created by Tim using H&M):

If you are generating PDF as well you definitely don't want to create tables with manually-entered HTML code objects. That would be much too much work and it wouldn't work at all in PDF, which ignores the code objects completely. Hi Tim, Steve, I still feel that an HTML table is the easiest solutio...

Re: Convert to table
I have several hundred sections within topics I need to convert to tables for better formatting. Half the table columns contain links to anchors in the same topic ... What's the best way? Hi Steve, Assuming you are producing an HTML-based output, the easiest way is probably to create an HTML table....

Re: eBook bullet & numbered paragraph formatting problem
The issue is very simple. I have pages with multiple bullet paragraphs. As long as the text in the bullet paragraph is short and not more than about one physical line on the screen, the formatting is ok. But longer bullet paragraphs are formatted incorrectly and not consistently. Hi Roger, I can't ...

QUESTION: As I requested earlier, I would like for someone form EC to explain why this behavior was changed from HM3. Hi Roger, I'm not from EC Software. They haven't actually changed the behaviours, which are part of normal browser page rendering. What they have changed are the default settings. Y...
