Hi, I'm producing browser-based help. One of our QA staff mentionned that he finds it annoying that the cursor is not located by default in the search box when he goes to the full-text search pane. When users access the full-text search pane is there a way to ensure that the cursor is positionned by...

Condition row in a table

Hi, I need to add conditional text tags to all data in a row in a table. I selected the data in each cell and applied the required condition. When I generate Brower-Based Help or PDF, I exclude the required condition in the Include Options box. The data is not shown in each cell, which is great, how...

French accents not displayed correctly in PDF (toc and H1)

Hi, When I’m generating a PDF file for a French manual, some accentuated characters (à, À, è, È, ù, Ù) are not displayed correctly: - in the table of contents - in topics where the text containing these accents are formatted with Heading 1. All other accents (é, â, etc.) are OK everywhere in the PDF...

This feature would help reduce the number of text styles in our template. The suggestion made by Alexander is quite similar to what is implemented in FrameMaker...

Hi, Tim, I added a short sample as an attachment. In the Print Manual tab, I defined a different font for Normal, Table_Cell, and Table_Heading paragraph styles. I also defined different attributes for the T_ScreenElement text style in the Print Manual tab. The T_ScreenElement text style is used: 1)...
