Re: Builds which include this topic
I am having a bit of trouble with this. I need the parent topic to be included in all builds but the child topic to only be included in browser-based help. Is that possible? Or are child topics always included in the same builds as their parents? You can't exclude all the child topics of a chapter ...

Re: XML Export of several topics
When the project is quite large, how would one round-trip say 60 topics for XML editing. As opposed to the entire project. One at a time is quite time consuming. Just export the entire project with the option activated that saves each topic in a separate XML file. Then edit the topics you need to e...

Hi Ivka, It turned out that only the anchors in the headers were not included into the PDF index. This is correct, as far as I can see anchor keywords are ignored if you place the anchors in the header. But there is really no reason to place an anchor in the header: If you just want the index keywor...

Re: PDF
Is it just me, or does this NOT work with PDF output? No, this isn't possible. If you plan to output to PDF you need to exclude the "copies" in the TOC from PDF by making the appropriate selections in the "Builds which include this topic" settings in Topic Options for each copy ...

Ivka, You don't need to paste to Word -- you can get a faster count in Word by compiling to RTF and then opening the RTF in Word and using the word count feature. If you need to count the words in your invisible topics you need to copy them to the TOC first, otherwise they will not be exported to RT...

Sonia, Without seeing the project it's hard to say exactly what's happening here. However, my guess is that you may have a nested table -- i.e. a table around another table. If this is the case it can cause problems with breaks at page boundaries and the repetition may be simply a result of the sett...

Re: Spell checking keywords
Hi Matthew, Keywords are not checked by the spellchecker -- as Dean suggested you may want to add a request to the Wish List. (BTW, the forum doesn't allow me to make two searches within some period. It should be better programmed since I had to post this instead of trying alternative searches.) I'm...
