Incorrect graphics format in zoomed image toggle

The problem is related to build 1033. I have set the image conversion in the Project Properties to "Convert all bitmaps to PNG (recommended)". This should keep the incoming jpeg, png and gif in the output. I have created a image toggle. The image is a jpeg file. In the output I get two fil...

Dear Aaron, Q1: You can copy properties from other projects. On each project property page is a button "Copy Properties From ...". Use this to select a project where you want to copy from. Same is with styles. In the Edit Styles Dialog is a button "Copy Styles From ...". Q2: The ...

Laura, the code should be like this: HtmlHelp( GetDesktopWindow(), "help.chm", HH_HELP_CONTEXT, 1101) ; HH_HELP_CONTEXT is defined in <htmlhlep.h> and has the number 0x000F. I'm assuming that 1101 is the context number of the page you are trying to display.

Hi Tim , I think there is a misunderstanding. Sarmad means the Welcome screen of H&M which has the nice girl with the headset and the really big letters Welcome.

I think this page is a dialog of the program.

I have build 866 and it works OK. I have keyword(s) with only two characters like "G8". Look at http://www.smg.hersacher.de/ and go to the Index tab.

Another related feature that may be coming is "toggle images". This will make things a lot easier. Look at http://www.hersacher.de/eisenbahn/ and go to the topic "Eisenbahn und EEP". Click on the images to make them large or small. I'm using Invisible topics and the new feature ...

If this will be implemented then do it consequently. All input fields should then support this.
My favourite programming environment LabVIEW supports triple clicks to select the complete text in any input field.

Dear John,

you can change this in the Compile and Run dialog. You reach this dialog by pressing CTLR+F9. Then choose Browser base help. At the top you can enter path and filename where to compile your project to.

You need to set this only once in the project. It will be stored with the project file.

Dear Keith, you should read the chapters about "Modular help systems" in the help of H&M. In a modular help system you have a master project and child projects. Using HTML Help you are even able to merge the modules at runtime. Additonally the chapter about "Multiple TOC entries f...

There is no version info with CHM-files like with EXE, DLL or OCX. The file info fields will never be filled. This maybe a restriction from the MS help compiler. These fields are only existent on a NTFS formated drive. You will loose this information, when copying to a FAT32 formated drive, e. g. US...

Yes for a web based application you must compile it to browser based help. You must upload the files to the webserver where you can link from your application. It is always recommended to compile into a test space first especially with a multi writer help system. Test all the links first and then ma...

Hello fshaik, 1. H&M is neither Client/server based nor web based. It is a tool running locally on your machine and the file is stored somewhere in the filespace of your machine. This may be locally or on a network. 2. No if you plan to make the project a single file project. Yes if you plan and...
