Re: PP2 tab background in IE
Imagine Usain Bolt running round a track. That's a standards-compliant browser. Now imagine Usain Bolt running round the track carrying his mother on his shoulders and pulling a sledge loaded with 1,600 pounds of scrap metal (without snow). That's IE. Nice analogy.. and a perfect one at that! Do yo...

Re: Topic header not displaying in PDF
Hi there! I'm sorry if this might be the wrong information, but I'm basing this reply on HM5 as I don't have HM4 anymore. Try navigating to the style setting (edit styles) and select the Heading 1 option. There 'should' be two tabs available: Screen View and Print Manual View. Select the Print Manua...

Re: Would you like proofreading functions?
Even though I am the only one author in our department, it will be nice to have something like a 'viewer' available for anybody who is interested in proofreading. Anything that is quick and easy to add comments to (without having specific software) is always a winner in my book. (Not all seem to be ...

Re: Exclude Images when Publishing
I know this is a longwinded way, but how about using conditional text on the images?
Create a new build status called Proof and set all the images as If Not Proof.
When publishing, select the Proof publish and that 'should' work.

Re: Print Sequence for Child Topics Linked in Parent Topic
Hi Ezekiel, Have you tried adding Page Referrers? In the Configuration > Publishing Options > Adobe PDF > PDF Layout there is an option to insert Page Referrers - as well as underlining Topic Links. When printed (even in black & white) the user can see the underlined links, but will have a visua...

Re: license text needed
Hi Paul,
you'll be able to find a copy of the license in the Help and Manual folder.
C:\Program Files\EC Software\HelpAndManual5
there is a LGPL_License.txt file which should give you what you need.
Hope this helps

By Jove, you're right!Martin Wynne wrote:p.s. Actually it doesn't case match the heading -- if you enter an all lower-case topic heading, H&M capitalizes it for the ID.
Oh, and I get what you meant about the filename as well. I should stop replying on Fridays

Re: Capitalized topic IDs
Martin, I've never had this happen to me before, and I think the reason for that is because I always use a Topic ID Prefix. eg. my prefix is MAN_ - whenever I add a new topic it does a case match to the topic heading. *edit* - I've just tried this on a brand new project with no settings, and the Top...
