I don't think you understand what I mean, or possibly I don't understand what you mean... Page breaks can't be inserted in de TOC in H&M or in the Print Manual's designer TOC. What I want is that the TOC that is generated isn't broken off in a lower level than the first. Like this: Not like this...

Possible: TOC header level n starts on next page?

Hi, I'm just wondering, is it possible to force the manual to start a certain TOC header or header level on a fresh page? This is what I have got now: .... ___7. Subitem seven 3. Item Three ___1. Subitem one ___2. Subitem two ___3. Subitem three -------------------------------------- next page -----...

'start on even page'

I would like a 'start on even page' option in the manual designer. You have the option to print a section in the print designer on a odd page or on any page, I would like to use the option 'on even page'. I will tell you why. If I print a custom build with the wrong number of pages (the total is eit...

List level 'out of bound'

If I create a list and want to nest another list into this list, for example: 1. Item 1 2. Item 2 ....a. item A ....b. item B 3. Item 3 (I'm using dots because phpBB2 (this forum software) will delete spaces) To start a new numbering level I would have to use the 'increase left indent / numbering le...

Thank you, I didn't know you could overide the variables! I did know that 'the information isn't there', but the application I am writing a manual for has a screen in which you can edit all your local time date variables (and some others), so at one moment I was looking for this fuction in H&M b...

MONTH variable in a diffrent language

The %MONTH% variable to be set to a diffrent language. I now have a English windows version, English Help & Manual, Character settings in H&M set to English, I'm creating an English manual, but I have my windows time & date settings in Dutch, because I am Dutch. The %MONTH% Name variable...

Entry header not reprinted on top of a new colunm

In the Index the main entry is reprinted on the next page if the list of sub-entries continues on the next page.
This doesn't happend with colunms, if an the list of sub-entries continues on the next page, the entry isn't put on top of the colunm. Is this a bug or is this done by design?

To get back on the table properties issue, I think it is also a good idea to be able to set a kind of 'table padding' only on the left and right side of each cell. This because a normal table cell (when you use table lines) will have the table line and the first character much closer then this: '|co...

I did figure out a way to show content from a topic that isn't in the TOC, but I'm not sure that this is also a solution for your problem... I did not understand 'inviseble topics', so I created topic with the information I needed and make sure they would not be compiled (and thus be in the TOC) by ...

Hi Rossco,

You can do that with H&M, but you can't let novice users update the information because they would need H&M and the knowledge to use it. But when the H&M designer is doing the updates it should not be a problem.

I don't think you understand what I mean. I mean for the Title 1, Title 2, Title 3, TOC, Forward, Endnotes, Index and Endnotes 2 sections. And I don't want to include them in or exclude them out of the build just from the TOC. Than you would be able to choose if they are included in the TOC. And wit...
