Automatically add file extension to GIF.
When saving as a GIF would it be possible to automatically add a file extension (.gif) if the user leaves one out of the file name? This is typical behavior when using a windows file save dialog, but isn't done when having a separate prompt as HX does.

Adding a blur.
Is there a way to blur parts of an image?
What would be really useful is when capturing, if a new window pops up, is to have an option that automatically blurs the capture area behind the the newly popped up window.

Re: HX MP4 output
The distributable files are listed in the master page. We should perhaps make it more obvious, which files you need to deploy. As for the structure, this is designed to have more than one Xplain in the same folder. Every Xplain has its own HTML page and a sub-folder that matches this name. The sub-...

Re: HX MP4 output
The 2nd is to provide one-off "how-tos" to users who ask how do I something. Outputting an MP4 video would be perfect Hi Dan, My solution to that is to play the HX on my screen and record it to MP4 with a screen recorder. There is nothing to edit, so any screen recorder will do and it's q...

Re: HX MP4 output
Tim & Alexander, Thank you for the quick responses. I still think there's a problem with #2, 2. Publishing to a file, such as abc.html, seems to create not only abc.html, but a folder named abc and a folder named js. This is not only confusing, but can trigger an error if there's already a folde...

HX MP4 output
Just purchased HX, couldn't pass up the new user/summer sale :) Some comments / questions about output. 1. Any chance of adding MP4 output so that we can send the screen shots to user? Would also let us add an audio track. 2. Publishing to a file, such as abc.html, seems to create not only abc.html,...

Thank you, hadn't even thought about that, and wasn't aware of the underscore trick.

Re: Webhelp link to drop down toggle.
Actually, I've given up on this and decided to create a hidden page that has link and embedded anchors. Then me and the support staff can go to that page and copy the necessary links as needed. Not ideal, and an extra step, but it will work for us.

Re: Webhelp link to drop down toggle.
Tim: I tried making the text associated with the toggle a link with the anchor thinking that I could right click on it and copy the link. When I did that, the link always shows expanded and lost it's toggle.

Re: Webhelp link to drop down toggle.
Hi TIm, I understand that, your docs were very helpful. I'm trying to figure out how to use this feature effectively. For example, if a user inquires about a specific issue, rather than referring them to simply this page: https://www.videoredo.com/TVSuite_Application_Notes/op_settings---advanced-tab...

Re: Webhelp link to drop down toggle.
Tim, We've upgraded, finally, to the V3 skins and are trying to get the auto toggle anchors working. Is there a way to pickup the URL of a toggle header with the anchor from a displayed webhelp page?
Thanks, Dan
Thanks, Dan

Re: V3 Template removing gradient behind the help title.
Thanks very much Tim. Two comments: 1. If you're going to allow the page_header font-family and color to be configured via a variable, I would suggest that the background should be as well. I spent at least an hour looking and playing around for this variable before asking for help. To me, it doesn'...
