When using the new HM 4.5, there is now the feature to generate a XML-file for translation.
When you export the default name is Untitled.ipp.xml.
When you hit import translation option, then the default XML-file name is Untitled.xml.
It would be nicer, if it could be also Untitled.ipp.xml.
Is there a way to automate the regeneration of the IPP-images, when the translation changed. May be for all files in a folder with the command line?

Re: Default import / export name for translation
Hi Jan,
Thanks for pointing this out, I'll mention it to the developers right away. However, note that this is only really relevant if you do the import directly after exporting. Normally, you will do the import a lot later and will have to select the individual files anyway.Linnenkohl wrote:When you export the default name is Untitled.ipp.xml.

A batch function is planned for version 5. However, remember that you are still going to need to open all the images in Impict after importing because the length of the texts will change in the majority of the cases, so you will need to adjust the text objects. Is there a way to automate the regeneration of the IPP-images, when the translation changed. Hi Jan,
The filename discrepancy has been corrected with a slipfix (no Build change). Just download and install again and it will go away...

An option to change the font size automatically to fit the text in the specified bounds would be a nice thing to have. Whether you translate or not.Tim Green wrote:However, remember that you are still going to need to open all the images in Impict after importing because the length of the texts will change in the majority of the cases, so you will need to adjust the text objects.
