Canvass and screenshot resizing

Unread post by sipl »

Hi
When I resize my screenshot using Quality Resize Image, its size changes, however the canvass remains the same size as the original screenshot.

Is there something that I am doing incorrectly?

Thanks,
Sipl

No this behaviour is by design.

I like it because after resizing I add some callouts or other things and need the old size of the canvas.

Thanks for your reply. Is there any way I can make the screenshot and canvass of the same size? I need it that way because when I insert the resized screenshot into a topic, the canvass surrounding it takes up too much white space and I am not able to enter text immediately after the screenshot.

Cheers!
Sipl.

Hi Sipl,

That's what the AutoResize tool is for (white square with four little arrows in 4 directions). Just click on it to resize the canvas to the current image size -- if you have multiple objects it will resize to the outer edges of all objects.
