Screen Capture - just a little improvement

Unread post by Graeme Martin »

When doing a screen capture, you have the option of adding a drop shadow. Very nice. How about an option to add a border (as you can do in Impict). This would be nice when capturing a free region where the borders are not necessarily well defined.

I agree, that would be really useful. It would also be nice to be able to define the opacity of the borders, so that you could create an effect that's clearly delineated but not too contrasty.

define the opacity of the borders
Rather the color and line width of the border... I think that a border should be placed around the screen shot, not inside the bounding rectangle. Opacity outside the image wouldn't have much effect as it is just semi-transparent against the background.
