In the picture, the original TNT 2.1.0-370 screen copy is the green box with the words "This is some text".
Select the words, copy them and then paste them into the box. - OK so far.
Slide the pasted region out of the box (above in this case).
"Do you want to resize?" - Yes.
The box is now the red box.
Result:The pasted text appears fuzzy, as in the picture.

This is normal. You are pasting one bitmap into a bitmap of a different size, which requires resizing. This always results in fuzziness, it is the nature of digital graphics.

Thanks, Tim. But then why isn't half the text fuzzy when I slide only half of it outside the box?
In the picture, the original TNT 2.1.0-370 screen copy is the green box with the words "This is text".
Select the words, copy them and then paste them into the box. - OK so far.
Slide the pasted region half-way out of the box (above in this case).
"Do you want to resize?" - Yes.
The box is now the red box.
Result:The pasted text appears correct, as in the picture.

Re: But: Fuzzy pastes
I know this is a VERY old topic, but I have noticed the fuzziness on TNT..
I can reproduce this as well - by editing images while viewing in more than 100%. It is a bit of an annoyance, but now that I know why it happens, I try to copy and paste between images with 100% view and zoom in after.
So, a little tip: always go back to 100% before copying between images
Hope this helps.
