H&M - Subfolders needed for sandcastle build

Unread post by Bart dk »

I'm currently working on a helpfile in H&M that will be merged with SandCastle help.
The problem with this approach is that H&M outputs all files to 1 big HTML directory. SandCastle will build it's TOC based on subfolders, .. :(

Is there any way we can ask H&M to create subfolders for each topic ? Other ideas ?

Hi Bart,

There's not currently any way to change this, HM currently depends on everything being in one folder. This may be changed in a future release but not in the short term, sorry... :?

If there is a one to one mapping between the names of the html files created by H&M and the names you need for SandCastle, and you can derive the folder names from the file names, then you can probably do the transformation with a batch file or a scripting langauge.
