license text needed

Unread post by Paul Nelson »

My company lawyers are asking for a copy of the license text which governs my single-seat H&M 5 license. I was not able to find this text by searching the website.

Thanks!

Hi Paul,

you'll be able to find a copy of the license in the Help and Manual folder.

C:\Program Files\EC Software\HelpAndManual5

there is a LGPL_License.txt file which should give you what you need.

Hope this helps

Hi Heidi,

That's not the HM license, it's the GPL license for some of the components in the scripts and the Premium Pack skins.

You can display the Help & Manual EULA by reinstalling Help & Manual. For example, if you don't have the current maintenance update released a few days ago just get it hear and install or reinstall to display the current license, which you can then copy:

Sorry about that, Tim.

I realised it after I posted (and then read) it. DOH!
