Search for whole word in Webhelp

Unread post by vanwerkum »

In Webhelp is there any way of searching for a whole word. e.g., search term "pda" should return results for "pda" only, not "updates", which contains "pda".

Hi Robert,

Just enclose the search term or phrase in quotes, then it will search for the whole word or words only.

When I click [Search], the quotes are dropped and I get results returned for "updates".

Hi Robert,

Hmm... there appears to be a change in the way the updated version of the Zoom indexer works here. I'll check this and get back to you on it. :?

Same for me, Tim. With or without quotes, I still get whole words and partials in my searches.

Searching for "ice" finds ice and voice.
