- bugs exists on all published formats (chm, html, pdf...)
- font and language settings are irrelevant
Problem exists in new H&M 7 project, too - I have just checked it.

Hi Svarti,
This is normal in the free trial version -- it is just a free trial restriction, along with random disabled hyperlinks in the output and the copyright notice in every topic. As the trial proceeds, the number of words that get garbled and the degree of garbling will increase. All these restrictions are removed when you activate Help & Manual with your purchased license codes, of course.

Where is this documented? It contradicts the statement "This trial version is fully functional for 30-days" on the download page. I searched for "trial" and "garbled" in the online help and it's not mentioned there. It isn't in the License Agreement either.Tim Green wrote:This is normal in the free trial version -- it is just a free trial restriction, along with random disabled hyperlinks in the output and the copyright notice in every topic.
I'm not sure this is a good idea...

Hi Simon,
It's displayed clearly when you publish with the trial version. The trial version is fully functional, you just have restrictions on the output.

svarti (at least 5-year H&M veteran afaics) missed it, so might others. Why not call it out on the download page? Most people would think "fully" means "to the greatest extent possible".
That looks clear enough now I'm looking. But if You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
