default bullet list indentation distance

Hi,
step by step I am setting up my help design.
Now I have a question about the default indentation:
Where is the distance between the e.g. bullet and the subsequent text defined?
Is it possible to adjust it?

was aware of the styles way to change indents, but did not read carefully enough to understand that the default indentation is fixed.
