Creating additional TOC references with\without SHIFT+CTRL

Unread post by Andrey Bushman »

Documentation H&M7: What's new in Version 7? > Editing and Formatting wrote: This makes it very easy to create additional TOC references to topics. In earlier versions you could only do this by manually entering an existing topic ID for a "new" topic or by dragging an existing TOC entry with SHIFT+CTRL.
I dragged a topic from the Project Files > Topic Files > Topics section to TOC with\without SHIFT+CTRL and I saw the same result: additional TOC references to topics. Do I correctly understand the operation? If "yes" then what is difference for with\without SHIFT+CTRL pressing at this case?

Thank you.

"You can create a TOC reference by dragging a TOC entry with SHIFT+CTLR" means that you start dragging by picking a TOC entry and not a file from Project Files.

BTW: Picking from TOC the new entry has the same timestamp as the exisiting one, picking from Project Files it has 1899-12-30.
