I did the following:
1) Created a link from page A to page B
2) Went to page B and added an anchor
3) Returned to A and made the link refer to the anchor, realised that anchor was misspelt
4) Returned to B, edited the anchor to the correct name expecting the name change to be tracked
5) Returned to A to check, found old anchor name, so selected the changed name, but was surprised to see the new anchor name twice in the list
6) closed file and reopened... the new anchor name is still twice in the list
I deleted an anchor and things now seem to be OK...
It would be nice to have anchor edits tracked (as page identifier changes are tracked)
It would be nice to be prevented from having the same anchor name more than once on a page

Hi Greg,
This has been like this as long as Help & Manual has existed. Anchors are not monitored in the editor. However, you will get warning messages in the compiler report if your project contains references to anchors that don't exist.
