Hi.
I know that moving or renaming an image will break the link to the manual.
Is there an option when you move or rename an image that it will automatically prompt for update in H&M?
Thank you.

Re: MovingImages To a Different Folder or Renaming
Hi Percy,
Moving images in Help & Manual is actually very easy. It only stores the image name in the reference in the topic. There is no path information there at all. It locates the images by looking in the folder references stored in Project Explorer: Configuration > Common Properties > Project Search Path. It goes through the folders from top to bottom and uses the first image it finds there with a matching name (so you need to avoid duplicates).
To move an image to a new folder you just need to add the new folder to the Project Search Path settings (and delete any folder references that are no longer relevant). You will need to reload the topic containing the image reference to see it from the new location.
When you change the name of an image file you need to change the name in the reference in the topic. You can do that by double-clicking on the image placeholder in the topic (it will show a red X if it can't find the image) and edit it. Alternatively, you can also search and replace image names in the entire project using the normal search tool. Open search and select "Image file names" in the "Find Where:" field. Then you can quickly locate and change all references to the old name to the new name globally in your entire project.
