Hi
The question is related to the latest HM7 build 3925.
I need to clean up few HM7 projects, that in the section Topics(*.xml) contain files that are not referenced in the TOC nor used as embedded snippets. Such files are orphans and I would like to delete them.
But!
I've tried to use the Report tool with the option Files not in TOC, but it contains also the snippet topics - that are not be deleted, obviously. How can I get only the not-referenced and not-snippets list?
BTW, I see that in the report the topics are rendered in different colors, what is the meaning of the colors?
Regards
Bruno

Re: Get the not-referenced and not-snippets list of topics?
Hi Bruno,
If your snippets are topic files then there's no way to exclude them from the topics not in the TOC list, because that is exactly what they are: topics that are not in the TOC. The only way to avoid this would be to keep your snippet files somewhere else -- for example in a separate project (which is actually a good idea).
The colors in the report tool are just the colors that you have set in the Project Explorer for topic status.

I use a prefix for the snippets, so they are all grouped together and easy to ignore =)

Re: Get the not-referenced and not-snippets list of topics?
Generally I do the same (the emb_... prefix). The problem was with certain topics that I "converted" to snippets without putting emb_ prefix... but I did found all of them at the end...
thanks for your advice...
