Is there a way to use non-breakable hyphens in a variable value?
Non-breakable spaces seem to work. However, HM removes non-breakable hyphens when exporting a topic.

Re: Non-breakable hyphens in variable value
Hi Andreas,
I'm not sure about this. I've asked Alexander to comment on it and will add another answer when I have the information. It's possible that the character is outside the plain text set permitted in variables.

Re: Non-breakable hyphens in variable value
You most probably have inserted a "soft hyphen" instead of a non-breakable hyphen. When inserted in variable values, soft hyphens look like normal hyphens and can easily be mistaken for a different character. In HTML, however, they intentionally disappear.

Alexander, you are right. I mixed them up. I just tried again and it works.
