Hello,
Is there a way to embed a PDF or .htm file inside a topic for a project that will be published either as a PDF or webhelp?
I couldn't trace this information in the online help.
Please help. Thanks!

Re: Embed a PDF or .htm file in topic
Hi Arun,
You can embed files linked with file links inside PDF files. See "Embedding linked files in PDF documents" in this topic here:
https://www.helpandmanual.com/help/inde ... s_file.htm
You can't "embed" a PDF file in the code of an HTML file, and it would bloat the file massively if you did. Instead, you need to link to it with a normal Internet link. You need to create the URL of the link to point to the location where the PDF file you are linking to when the user clicks on the link when viewing the WebHelp on your web server, NOT to the location of the file on your own computer. Also, you should set the link to open in a new page, not inside the help itself.
